School Supply Donation List- 2019-20

Dear Kahoa Families,

Lincoln Public Schools and Kahoa Elementary provide all the materials that students need during their school day.  If you would like to donate supplies to your child’s classroom for everyone to use, here are a few things that your child’s teachers find helpful. Below you will find supply list needs by grade level. You may bring any items that you purchase to Open House on August 8th beginning at 6:00 pm.

Kindergarten:

  • Glue sticks
  • One inch 3 ring binder
  • 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled)
  • Washable markers
  • Black skinny/fine point Expo Brand dry erase markers (we go through a lot of these)
  • Facial Tissues
  • #2 Pencils (sharpened if possible)
  • Crayons (twistable or regular)
  • Small blunt tip scissors

First Grade:

  • Pencil Box
  • Small Scissors
  • Small boxes of crayons and markers
  • Box of Tissues
  • #2 Pencils with erasers
  • Pink block erasers
  • Black Expo brand dry erase markers, fine tip
  • Box of band-aids
  • Glue Sticks

Things NOT to bring to First Grade:

  • Large notebooks
  • Trapper Keepers
  • Small pencil sharpeners
  • Mechanical pencils
  • Colored Pencils (unless Twistables)
  • Toys

Second Grade:

  • Crayola 8 ct. Classic Markers
  • Crayola 24 ct. Crayons
  • Folders (2)
  • Wide Ruled Notebook
  • Glue Sticks
  • Pencil Top Erasers
  • Kid Scissors
  • Expo Dry Erasers
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Kleenex
  • Ziploc Bags-Any Size
  • Band-aids

Things NOT to bring to Second Grade:

  • Trapper Keepers
  • Small pencil sharpeners

Third Grade:

  • Pencils with erasers
  • Pink erasers
  • Low odor dry erase markers
  • Boxes of Kleenex
  • 70-sheet wide-ruled spiral notebooks
  • Sturdy 2-pocket folders (will be used for homework year long)
  • Packs of wide-ruled notebook paper
  • Small boxes of markers, crayons, and colored pencils
  • Glue sticks
  • Band-Aids
  • Ziploc bags (Either snack, sandwich, quart, or gallon-sized)

Fourth Grade:

  • #2 Pencils & Colored Pencils
  • Black Dry Erase Markers
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Tissues
  • Ziploc bags (various sizes)
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Erasers
  • Red Checking Pens
  • Highlighters
  • Packs of lined paper
  • Wide-ruled single subject notebooks

Things NOT to bring to Fourth Grade:

  •  Pencil boxes/pouches
  • Trapper Keepers
  • extra notebooks/folders

Fifth Grade:

Please do not label any of the following items with names. Teachers will help the children label.

  • Kleenex
  • Crayola Markers
  • Black Dry Erase markers
  • Clorox Wipes
  •  1″ Binders ( will be using 3 per student)
  • Three spiral notebooks
  • Two-pocket folders (preferably plastic & will be using 5 per student) Example
  • Ziploc Bags (any size)
  • Post-It Sticky Notes (3 x 3 is preferred in any color)
  • Pencils (Preferably Ticonderoga Brand)
